PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping not only exchanged courtesies at the Bali G20 summit in November last year but also spoke on the need to stabilise Sino-Indian bilateral relations, the government confirmed Thursday. The confirmation followed the Chinese readout of the Ajit Doval-Wang Yi meeting in Johannesburg earlier this week in which it said PM Modi and Xi reached a consensus in Bali on stabilising relations.
