The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the Centre to take all necessary steps to maintain law and order in Delhi-NCR and ensure no hate speeches are made in rallies amid communal tensions in parts of Haryana. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and S V Bhatti refused to stop the rallies but ordered that additional police or paramilitary forces be deployed and CCTV cameras be installed in sensitive areas.
